Cloud Nothings perform their latest album 'Final Summer' live at the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds.
Cloud Nothings play the Brudenell Social Club on Sunday 8 November, with guests to be announced. They're touring their latest full-length, Final Summer, which they recorded with Jeff Zeigler, mixed by Sarah Tudzin and mastered by Jack Callahan.
It's a long way from how they started. Cloud Nothings began in 2009 as the lo-fi basement project of guitarist and vocalist Dylan Baldi, who later rounded out the line-up with drummer Jayson Gerycz and bassist Chris Brown. Over nearly fifteen years they've released nine or ten albums, and Final Summer is the latest to come out of that run.
Baldi describes the project as a way to keep making songs that take listeners from one place to another. That's a good way to put it, and it's what they'll be doing on the night. The set will centre on the new material, though they've got a deep enough catalogue to pull from if they fancy it.
