Comedian, musician and writer Bill Bailey brings his Vaudevillean tour to First Direct Bank Arena, blending stand-up with music.
Bill Bailey brings his new live tour to the First Direct Bank Arena on Saturday 28 November. He's a British comedian, musician and writer who first made his mark on the breakthrough shows of the late 90s and has since become one of the UK's most loved performers, with a career that stretches across television, film, radio and a long run of sell-out tours.
If you only know him from the screen, he's a familiar face from Never Mind the Buzzcocks, QI and Black Books, and he's released several acclaimed stand-up specials. But his live act is a different beast. His trademark is the blend of stand-up with musical inventiveness, sharp observation and brilliantly surreal detours, shifting from clever social commentary to wild improvisation in the same moment. It's that mix that's earned him a reputation for shows that are imaginative, unpredictable and laugh-out-loud funny.
