A showcase of four emerging rock, alternative, punk and emo bands at the grassroots venue Royal Park Cellars in Burley.
Angels With Dirty Faces headline Royal Park Cellars on Saturday 7 November, sharing the bill with Threat Detector, Triangle X and Glass Cities. It's a four-band showcase that pulls from rock, alternative, punk and emo, with the headliners taking the top slot and the other three filling out the rest of the night.
Royal Park Cellars is one of Leeds's grassroots venues — a small-capacity room where the audience stands close to the band and the bill changes every week. Gigs here are intimate by design, and the booking notes that the support acts often deserve as much attention as the headliner. That's a fair point to keep in mind when you're looking at the full line-up: Threat Detector, Triangle X and Glass Cities aren't just filling time before the main act.
Between the four of them, the night covers a fair bit of ground across rock, alternative, punk and emo, so there's a good chance you'll find something that hits your spot. It's an all-ages show, too, so you can bring along younger friends or siblings without worrying about age restrictions. If you've been following any of these bands, it's a chance to see them in a room where you're right up against the stage rather than watching from the back of a larger hall.
