Against The Current / Daydreamers Futuresound

Against The Current play Leeds Beckett Students' Union on Saturday 31 October, part of their Till Death & Back Tour. It's a Saturday night gig in the city, so it's an easy one to build an evening around.

They're the main draw, and they'll be supported by Daydreamers, who open the bill. The tour title, Till Death & Back, gives the whole thing a bit of a theme to it, and with the date falling on Halloween, it fits the mood of the night. If you've followed them for a while, you'll know they've spent years moving from the pop-punk they started with towards a bigger, more polished sound, and this tour is the latest stop on that path.

Leeds Beckett Students' Union is on Portland Way, LS1 3HE, right in the heart of the city. It's a venue that's seen its fair share of touring bands, and it's well-connected for getting in and out, whether you're coming from within Leeds or travelling in from elsewhere. Doors open at 19:00, so you've got plenty of time to get sorted before the music starts.

Tickets are £33.00, which includes a £3.00 booking fee per ticket. That's the price for the night, and with the doors opening at 19:00, you can make a proper evening of it.
