Weekly stand-up comedy open mic night hosted by Jolley and MK at Hammers Dueling Piano Bar, featuring local comics and newcomers.
The Comedy Vault is back at Hammers Dueling Piano Bar on Tuesday, October 13, for another round of stand-up open mic. It's run by Kansas City's own Jolley and MK, who host the night and keep things moving. They describe it as a room where you can catch some of the city's brightest comics and where newcomers can try their hand at the comedy stage, so you'll get a mix of seasoned local names and people working out new material in front of a live crowd.
The night finds its home inside Hammers, a Midtown spot that calls itself the city's most interactive live music experience: an all-request, audience-driven dueling piano show with two pianists taking requests from the crowd all night. Beyond the pianos, the bar runs a string of weekly nights, from karaoke with DJ Rosie-J and TNT Trivia to R&B music bingo and low-key listening-room music, all in a 21+ setting.
