A watch party at KC Live! in the Power & Light District to watch the Kansas City vs Cincinnati NFL game on a 40-foot screen with food and drinks.
KC Live! is hosting a Coca-Cola Game Day watch party for Kansas City vs Cincinnati on Sunday, December 13. The whole thing is built around a 40-foot screen in the middle of the Power & Light District, so you can watch the game on a scale that actually feels like being at the stadium without having to leave the city.
It's set up as a full afternoon and evening. Doors open at 1 PM, and the pre-game activities kick off about an hour before kickoff, which is at 3:25 PM. Around the screen, there are bars, game day eats and drinks, giveaways and interactive games to keep things moving before the game even starts. The venue describes itself as a "home away from the stadium" for the city's biggest game day watch parties, and the layout makes that clear: the big screen is the center, with everything else radiating out from it.
If you're planning to make a day of it, there are several bars and restaurants surrounding the main area, including McFadden's and Shark Bar, as well as the patio at Guy Fieri's Dive & Taco Joint. Table reservations are available by email, so if you've got a group and want a spot secured, that's the way to do it. Otherwise, it's a walk-in kind of crowd.
Every week we pick π the 5 best π things to do in Kansas City and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
