A vintage and retro clothing flea market held at the River Market Farmers Market pavilion, featuring curated vendors and local food stalls.
River Market Flea is taking over the Farmers Market pavilion at 5th & Walnut (531 Walnut St) every Sunday through October 2026, starting at 8 AM. That means you can find it on October 11, 18, and 25, and again on November 1. It's a curated vintage market that turns the pavilion into a haven for retro clothing from the 1960s through the early 2000s, along with accessories and one-off finds. The selection is put together by local apparel experts, including the team credited with outfitting Taylor Swift in Kansas City Chiefs gear.
Because the vendors rotate each day, the racks change every Sunday. You'll find a different mix of eras and styles depending on when you drop by, so if you're hunting for something specific, it pays to check back more than once. The vintage side is the main draw, but the day doesn't stop there. You can still browse the Farmers Market stalls for gourmet mushrooms, microgreens, pork rinds, distilled spirits, CBD products, and pet treats. It's a good spot to pick up something for the week while you're digging through the clothing.
The whole thing sits within the City Market's year-round shops and restaurants, and it runs alongside Art on Walnut, a collection of local artists and makers presented by Art Garden KC. If you're in the neighborhood for the vintage, you can easily swing by the art and grab a meal without leaving the area. It's a full morning's worth of things to do in one place.
