Stand-up show by comedian Matt Mathews, for ages 18+, at the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Kansas City.
Matt Mathews brings his Not What I Ordered World Tour to the Ameristar Star Pavilion on Saturday, October 17, 2026. It's a stand-up set from a guy who doesn't fit into one easy box: he's a comedian, a country singer, a farmer, and an entrepreneur, all coming out of Bessemer, Alabama.
Mathews built his following on social media with raw, relatable humor about farm life, personal experiences, and the kind of taboo topics most people keep to themselves. After selling out venues across the country on his comedy tours, he released the stand-up special When That Thang Get Ta Thang'n, which you can stream now. He's also moving into music, with a debut country project due in spring 2025.
Beyond the stage, there's a fair amount to the man. He's an avid horseman who lives in Alabama with his husband, and he runs a boudoir photography business and product line. That mix of farm work, family, and business is exactly where his comedy pulls fromβthe everyday details of a life that's a bit different from what you'd expect.
