Interactive dueling piano entertainment with all-request sing-alongs, banter and dance-offs at Hammers.
Dueling Pianos is a weekly fixture at Hammers Dueling Piano Bar in Midtown, running every Friday and Saturday night through the end of 2026. It's billed as Kansas City's most interactive live music experience, and the format explains why: there's no setlist. Two world-class pianists take requests from the crowd and battle it out on stage, with the audience calling the songs. Sing-alongs, banter and dance-offs fill out the night, and the whole thing is built on the idea that the audience is the show.
If you're looking for a specific date, the schedule runs through the rest of the year. In October, it's the 17th, 23rd, 24th, 30th and 31st. November brings the 6th, 7th, 13th, 14th, 20th, 21st, 27th and 28th. December rounds it out with the 4th, 5th, 11th, 12th, 18th, 19th, 25th and 26th. Doors open at 8:30 PM.
