A community-first, family-friendly market featuring local makers, antiques, vintage clothing, fresh produce, and brunch at Mildred's.
Crossroads Flea returns to Mildred's on Sunday, October 11, from 9 AM to 2 PM. It's a community-first, family-friendly market run in collaboration with Mildred's, the Crossroads neighborhood brunch bar, and it's part of a regular run that hits the second Sunday of April, May, June, September, October, and November.
The setup is a mix of local makers, fresh produce, antiques, and vintage clothing, so you can browse handmade goods and old finds in the same trip. While you're shopping, Mildred's is serving coffee, breakfast, and brunch, with a bar offering curated brunch cocktails and snacks. It's the kind of morning where you can grab a coffee and a plate of food and then spend a few hours digging through the stalls.
There's a bit of a story behind it. The flea was inspired by the Brooklyn Flea and is the brainchild of Mildred's co-owner Evan Ashby and event producer Jess Rogers. They describe it as a safe, fun space for Crossroads neighbors to connect, shop, and celebrate, with the long-term goal of providing a consistent place to find the freshest food and the best locally made goods. The organizers note that they held their first season last autumn, and that it only gets better from there.
