A free weekend art fair with over 35 artists, live music, sweet treats and kids activities in the Crestwood and Brookside area.
Art On Oak returns to the Second Presbyterian Church this weekend, bringing a full art fair to the Crestwood and Brookside neighborhood. It runs across two days: Friday, October 9, from 5 PM to 8 PM, and Saturday, October 10, from 10 AM to 4 PM.
More than 35 artists are taking part, so you'll find a good amount of work to look through in one place. It's a free event, and the church is at 315 East 55th St., right in the middle of the neighborhood. If you're coming from outside the area, that puts it in the Crestwood and Brookside part of Kansas City, so you're close to plenty of other spots to hit before or after.
It's not just about the art, either. There's live music playing throughout, sweet treats to snack on, and activities for kids, which makes it easy to bring the whole family along rather than leaving the little ones at home. Between the artists, the music, and the kids' stuff, there's enough going on to spend a few hours there without feeling like you've seen it all in ten minutes.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Kansas City and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

Since it's spread over two days, you can pick the one that fits your schedule better. Friday evening is a shorter window, 5 PM to 8 PM, and Saturday is the longer haul, 10 AM to 4 PM. Admission is free, so you can just drop in whenever you're around.
