A community celebration in the Waldo neighbourhood with live music, local vendors, food trucks, and kids' activities.
The 34th Annual Waldo Fall Festival returns to the Waldo neighborhood on Saturday, October 10, from 10 AM to 5 PM. It's a day-long street fair centered at 222 W Gregory Blvd, right at the corner of Wornall Road and Gregory Boulevard, and admission is free.
The festival is hosted by the Waldo Area Business Association, whose district runs along Wornall Road from Gregory Boulevard down toward 85th Street. It's home to about 300 businesses, including many of the neighborhood's favorite restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and services. The day is built around that local scene: you can walk through the vendor shopping, meet the business owners who work in the area, and grab food and drinks from the trucks on site.
There's a full schedule of events throughout the day. The festival opens at 10 AM, and by 10:30 AM the Annual Waldo Mayor Award is handed out. From 11 AM to 2 PM, a singer-songwriter showcase keeps music going through the middle of the day. At 2 PM, the Waldo Dog Costume Contest, presented by Collar's Dog Resort, brings out the neighborhood pets. The afternoon winds down with a DJ and beer garden from 3 PM to 5 PM.

For families, there's a kids' area with a bounce house, face painting, and arts and crafts. Between the shopping, the food trucks, and the kids' activities, it's a full day that works whether you're coming with a group or just stopping by for a few hours. The festival runs from 10 AM to 5 PM at 222 W Gregory Blvd, and it's free to attend.
