Pop-punk trio Winona Fighter play HI-FI in Indianapolis on their 2027 North American tour.
Winona Fighter play HI-FI on Saturday, March 6, 2027, as part of a North American tour that also takes them to The Garrison in Toronto and the Biltmore Cabaret in Vancouver. The show is presented by MOKB Presents.
They're a Nashville pop-punk trio fronted by Chloe 'Coco' Kinnon, who sings and plays drums, with lead guitarist Dan Fuson and bassist and producer Austin Luther. The band came together after Kinnon moved to Nashville from Boston, and they first broke out with the 2022 debut EP Father Figure. They later re-recorded those songs for their debut album, My Apologies To The Chef, which they tracked in Luther's home studio.
The set will draw from their new record, Brutal & Extremely Underrated, out January 22 on Rise Records. It marks a shift in their writing: where the early material looked inward at personal anger, these songs look outward at world and national conflict. The record was shaped by an ice storm that knocked out power to their garage recording space, and it was mixed by Grammy-winning engineer Greg Collins. The cover art is a sculpture by artist Glen Martin Taylor, whom Kinnon commissioned after cold-emailing him.
