A family-friendly autumn festival featuring a pumpkin patch, corn maze, hayrides, petting zoo, farmers market and food trucks at Waterman's Family Farm.
Waterman's Family Farm is running its fall festival through November 1, 2026, at 7010 East Raymond St. in Indianapolis. It opened with a kickoff weekend on September 26 and 27, and has been running on select dates since October 3. Hours change by the day, generally from 10 AM to 8 PM.
The festival is built around a pumpkin patch where you pick your own, a corn maze, and hayrides. There's a petting zoo for the kids, rides and games, and a farmers market on site. Food trucks handle the eating, and the farm's pumpkin-eating dinosaur is there too. It's the kind of place that works as a quick stop for a pumpkin or a full afternoon with the family.
There's some history behind the farm that explains why it feels the way it does. Bruce and Carol Waterman opened Waterman's Farm Market back in 1978 with the idea of letting people pick their own produce or get farm-fresh quality at a friendly country market. Over the years, it's grown into a local spot the family describes as a 'farm in the city' they hope feels like part of visitors' families. The festival is how they spend the autumn months.
