Horror authors Rachel Harrison, Nadia Davids and Delilah S. Dawson visit Indiana Landmarks for a book fair, conversation, readings and signings.
Tomorrow Bookstore is bringing its second annual Women in Horror to Indiana Landmarks on Thursday, October 29, from 6:30 to 9:00 PM. It's a horror-themed literary evening that pulls bestselling writers from across the country into Indianapolis for one night, and this year the lineup is Rachel Harrison, Nadia Davids, and Delilah S. Dawson.
The night is built in three acts, so you can come for the whole thing or just the part that interests you. It kicks off with a book fair from 6:00 to 7:30 PM, when the authors are around to meet readers and sign books. The main event follows from 7:30 to 8:30 PM: a headline horror conversation with readings and an audience Q&A, and the evening wraps with a closing book signing. Food is provided by Smoking Goose, a local vendor.
Moderating the conversation is Haley Newlin, an Indiana horror writer and Managing Editor for Cemetery Dance Magazine. She grew up on the theatrical terror of William Castle's gimmicks and Vincent Price films, and that background sits right in the wheelhouse of a night like this. The evening is sponsored by Indiana Landmarks and Indiana Humanities.
