Concert by the Atlanta-based pop-punk band The Paradox, with supporting act Super Sometimes, at The HI-FI.
The Paradox play The HI-FI on Monday, November 2, with Super Sometimes opening. It's a Monday night show, so you'll want to plan around that.
If you haven't come across them yet, The Paradox is a four-piece from Atlanta that formed in the summer of 2024. The lineup is Eric Dangerfield on vocals and guitar, Christopher "Xelan" Bernard on lead guitar and vocals, Donald Bryant on bass, and Percy "PC3" Crews on drums. They've built their following on a sound that draws on pop-punk's pioneers while pushing the genre forward, and the rise has been fast: within three weeks of posting their first content online they had more than 130,000 followers, and less than a year and a half later that number had grown to 2.1 million across all platforms. They've already put a number one on the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart and toured alongside some of rock's biggest names.
The names backing them read like a who's who of rock royalty. Billie Joe Armstrong personally invited them to open a Green Day stadium show, and Travis Barker jumped on their single "Bender." Joel Madden, Jack White, Kid Cudi, SZA, and LeBron James have all championed the band, too. It's a lot of heavy hitters for a group that's barely been around since 2024.
