Free storytime session for babies, toddlers and preschoolers at the Irvington Branch Library.
Professor Watermelon is leading storytime at the Irvington Branch Library on Thursday, November 5, from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM. It's a session built for the youngest crowd—babies, toddlers, and preschoolers—so it's the kind of thing you bring your little ones to on a weekday morning.
If you've never been, the Irvington Branch is a neighborhood spot in the east side of Indianapolis, and this is one of those library programs that's meant to be easy and low-pressure. The whole thing runs for 45 minutes, which is about the limit for most toddlers before they start getting restless, so it's a good length for a morning outing. The focus is on reading aloud to kids who are still learning how to sit through a story, and it's open to babies, toddlers, and preschoolers alike.

Professor Watermelon is the one leading the session, and the program is geared toward those early childhood years when listening to a story is as much about the sound of the voice as it is about the plot. It's a free event, so there's no ticket to worry about—just show up with your kids. It runs from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM on Thursday, November 5, at the Irvington Branch Library in Indianapolis.
