Free storytime session with stories, songs and toys for babies and toddlers up to 36 months accompanied by an adult.
Storytime at Warren is back at the Warren Branch of the Indianapolis Public Library on Wednesday, November 4, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. It's a session for babies and toddlers up to 36 months old, and they'll need an adult with them.
The program is built around the things little ones respond to best: stories, songs, and toys. It's not just sitting and listening; the toys bring in a hands-on element that keeps them engaged, and the songs give them something to move to. If you've got a toddler who can't sit still for a full book, that's exactly why the songs and toys are part of the mix.
The Warren Branch itself is a 16,000-square-foot library serving Warren Township, located at 9701 East 21st Street, just northeast of Warren Central High School and next to Lakeside Elementary. It first opened in 1974, though it had to close for seven months back in 1979 after a fire. The most recent major update was a $1.1 million renovation completed in 2016, the first big overhaul since the branch first opened.
