A weekly preschool storytime session with stories and crafts for young children and their families at the Warren Branch library.
Storytime at Warren is back at the Warren Branch of the Indianapolis Public Library on Thursday, December 3, from 10:30 to 11:00 AM. It's part of the branch's weekly program of stories, crafts, and more for preschoolers, and families and homeschoolers are welcome to attend. No registration is required, so you can just show up with your little ones.
If you're not familiar with the spot, the Warren Branch is a 16,000-square-foot library serving Warren Township. It opened in 1974, right next to Lakeside Elementary School and northeast of Warren Central High School. It's been around the neighborhood for a while, though it's had a few chapters of its own: a fire in 1979 closed the branch for seven months, and a $1.1 million renovation completed in 2016 was its first major overhaul since it first opened.

The session itself is a half-hour of stories and crafts, designed for preschoolers, and it's one of the weekly offerings the branch puts on for the youngest readers in the community. Since it's part of a regular schedule, it's an easy one to drop into without having to plan far in advance. Families and homeschoolers are both welcome, and there's no registration required, so you can just head over when it suits you. It runs from 10:30 to 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 3, at the Warren Branch of the Indianapolis Public Library.
