Storytelling evening by professional storyteller Megan Wells, part of the Signature Series of Storytelling Arts of Indiana.
Megan Wells takes the stage at the Frank & Katrina Basile Theater on Saturday, March 13, for an evening of storytelling. The theater is inside the Eugene & Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center at 450 W Ohio St in downtown Indianapolis.
Wells is an award-winning storyteller with more than forty years of experience. She performs in museums and symphonies, reaches thousands of children through educational work, and entertains families at festivals and libraries. Beyond the stage, she coaches executives, actors, and storytellers on how to craft powerful stories that effect change. The March 13 show is a storytelling session, with Wells as the sole feature.

The evening is presented by Storytelling Arts of Indiana, an organization founded in 1988 that seeks to enrich, connect, and entertain through the art and experience of storytelling. This performance is part of their Signature Series, which runs from September through April at the Frank & Katrina Basile Theater inside the Indiana History Center. The organization also stages monthly story slams, including the Indy Story Slam—one of its most beloved programs—which brings storytellers and audiences together every third Wednesday of the month at a local bar or restaurant. The March 13 show falls within that Signature Series window, which runs through April.
