Recurring night of stand-up comedy and burlesque hosted by Daryl Hollonquest Jr and Tennah McDonald at The White Rabbit Cabaret.
Spicy Magic Comedy Nite returns to The White Rabbit Cabaret on Thursday, October 22, for its 47th edition. It's one of the venue's recurring nights, and this one puts the comedy front and center. Daryl Hollonquest Jr and Tennah McDonald host, with comics Karinne Turnbow and Alex Price on the bill.
If you haven't spent much time there, the White Rabbit Cabaret is a Fountain Square spot that bills itself as a place where the "weirdly elegant" thrive. It's a cabaret room that mixes burlesque, stand-up, and improv alongside musical headliners and movie screenings. Spicy Magic Comedy Nite is one of several signature shows they run: there's The Burlesque Bingo Bango Show, Let's Make A Date, VaVaVoom, and the Rendezvous Drag & Burlesque Revue, plus Frankie's Flicks for movie nights. They also do the monthly storytelling show Do Tell, Ride or Die Comedy, and the Dead Comics Party—a Halloween special where comics impersonate deceased comedians.
