Chicago cover band Sixteen Candles plays 1980s hits live at The Vogue Theatre in a 21+ show.
Sixteen Candles play The Vogue Theatre on Saturday, October 24, with doors at 7 PM and the show starting at 8 PM. The night is presented by Forty5 & Eight Eleven Group.
Sixteen Candles is a Chicago cover band that's been playing since 2003, touring both nationally and internationally to bring 1980s music back to life. They play 100% live, with no pre-recorded backing tracks, so what you hear on stage is what they're actually playing. If you've spent your life with 80s music, that's the territory they're working in.
The venue is The Vogue Theatre, 6259 N College Ave in Broad Ripple. It opened as a movie theater in 1938, became one of the region's premier movie houses, and later opened as a nightclub in 1977. It's still considered one of the top nightspots for live music in Indianapolis.

There are a few practical things to keep in mind before you head out. The show is for ages 21 and over only, and you'll need a valid government-issued photo ID to get in; two forms of identification might be necessary, so it's worth bringing a backup. It's general admission, and there's no seating provided unless you get a seating upgrade. Tickets are non-refundable. Doors open at 7 PM, and the music starts at 8 PM.
