Live concert of Bear McCreary's score from the TV series Outlander, with cinematic video from all eight seasons on a cinema-scale screen.
Outlander In Concert comes to the Murat Theatre at Old National Centre on Sunday, October 25, at 6:30 PM. It's the officially licensed live concert experience celebrating the music and moments of the Outlander series across eight seasons, and it's built around the show's score performed live by a full orchestra. While the music is the lead, you'll also have high-definition cinematic video recordings from all eight seasons playing on a cinema-scale screen, so the scenes and the sound run together.
The whole thing was put together in collaboration with showrunner Matthew B. Roberts and Emmy Award-winning, Grammy-nominated composer Bear McCreary. McCreary is the one behind the score, and his work extends beyond Outlander to The Walking Dead and God of War. Scotland's Celtic sound takes center stage throughout the night, with pieces like The Skye Boat Song among the highlights.
The performance runs about two hours with a 20-minute intermission. It's hosted at the Murat Theatre, a historic Moorish-style venue in the center of Indianapolis that's been hosting performances for more than 100 years, with 2,675 seats spread across the Main Floor, Royalty, and Balcony sections.
