Rocky in Concert 50th Anniversary Tour

Rocky in Concert comes to the Murat Theatre at Old National Centre on Thursday, October 29, as part of the Rocky in Concert 50th Anniversary Tour. It's a one-night-only, all-ages show, so you can bring the whole family along.

The premise is a bit different from your usual movie night. Instead of the theater picking the film, the audience gets to choose which Rocky movie plays on the big screen. Once the choice is made, a full symphony orchestra performs Bill Conti's score live in surround sound, timed to the action on screen. The music earned an Academy Award nomination, and the set includes the animated version of "Gonna Fly Now," the theme that became the series' signature.

The venue is the historic Murat Theatre at Old National Centre, 502 N New Jersey St, with between 2,500 and 2,675 multi-level seats and wheelchair-accessible seating. The show starts at 7 PM, and gates open at 6 PM, so you've got plenty of time to get settled before the movie begins. Tickets start at $53.
