Final session of the Indianapolis Public Library's beginner-friendly Microsoft Excel series on creating, editing and formatting spreadsheets.
The College Avenue Branch of the Indianapolis Public Library is hosting the third and final session of its Microsoft Excel Series on Wednesday, October 28, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. It's the wrap-up to a three-part course run by the library's Tech Learning Team, and it's built for beginners.
If you've never touched a spreadsheet before, that's exactly where this series starts. The whole point is to introduce creating, editing, and formatting spreadsheets from the ground up, and each session includes exercises to work through while you learn. The team describes it as beginner-friendly, so you don't need to be coming in with any prior experience to get your bearings.
One thing that's worth keeping in mind is how the series is structured: they encourage taking all three classes to get the full picture, but any single session can be joined on its own. If you missed the first two, you can still drop in for this one. The series is made possible by The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.
