Alternative-pop singer Lauren Sanderson performs live with supporting act XKYLAR at the open-air HI-FI Annex venue.
Lauren Sanderson plays the HI-FI Annex on Friday, October 23, with XKYLAR opening. The Annex is the open-air venue in the back parking lot of The Murphy Arts Center at 1065 St. Patrick St, so it's an outdoor show. MOKB Presents is putting it on, and it's open to all ages, with kids five and under free with an adult. There's a Sidestage Lounge VIP upgrade available if you want to step it up.
Sanderson is an alternative-pop singer, songwriter, and performer from Fort Wayne, Indiana, now based in Nashville. She first got a lot of attention after a TED Talk, and her self-titled album LAUREN and her collaboration COME SAY SUM with Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst mark a shift into a louder, more maximalist sound. She draws on Missy Elliott's futurism and nΓΌ-metal, and her catalog has gathered over 100 million streams. She's touring with COME SAY SUM US, so that's the material she's bringing to the stage.

Doors open at 6 PM, and the show starts at 7 PM. Admission is free. XKYLAR opens, and Sanderson follows. It's an all-ages night, so kids five and under get in free with an adult, and the Sidestage Lounge VIP upgrade is an option if you're looking for something more than the general admission. The venue is the open-air HI-FI Annex, in the back parking lot of The Murphy Arts Center at 1065 St. Patrick St.
