Indianapolis Taco Week

Indianapolis Taco Week runs from October 12 to 18, with participating restaurants across Indianapolis and Central Indiana taking part. It's billed as a week-long extension of National Taco Day, turning a single holiday into seven consecutive days of taco deals. Indianapolis Monthly powers the week, and Ategrity Specialty Insurance presents it, with support from Corona, Jarritos and el Jimador.

Each participating kitchen serves its own take on the taco, from classic favorites to secret menu specialties. The whole thing comes with a tongue-in-cheek "Taco Week Commandments" manifesto: be kind to the restaurants, tip generously, buy a drink or some other food, and share the experience on social media. It's designed to get you out exploring local spots, discovering new neighborhoods and supporting Central Indiana's dining community.

The official app maps out the week and turns it into a competition. Check in at four restaurants to enter a drawing for $300 in gift cards, and the diner with the most points—with at least four check-ins—is named Indianapolis' Biggest Taco Lover and wins another $300.

Tacos are $3 each, with a minimum order of three per visit. The event runs through Sunday, October 18.
