Pop-punk and rock concert headlined by In Her Own Words and Every Avenue, with Fluorescents and MIKEY as supporting acts.
In Her Own Words and Every Avenue co-headline HI-FI on Wednesday, October 21, with Fluorescents and MIKEY. opening the night. It's a double bill that splits the evening into two distinct sets: In Her Own Words takes the first half, and Every Avenue takes the second.
For In Her Own Words, the night is about a specific record. 2026 marks the 10th anniversary of Unfamiliar, the album that helped establish them in the pop-punk scene with its honest songwriting and big, singalong choruses. They're playing it in full on this tour, which they've billed as both a nostalgic celebration and a reminder of why the songs still work. Vocalist Joey Fleming describes Unfamiliar as something they made as kids trying to process anxiety, heartbreak, and growing pains, and says it's surreal to hear fans still screaming those lyrics back at them.
Every Avenue brings a different history to the second set. The five-piece from Marysville, Michigan, has been a fixture of the rock circuit since 2004, touring with All Time Low, Boys Like Girls, Metro Station, and Hey Monday. Their 2011 album landed on Alternative Press' Most Anticipated Albums list that year, and the single "Tell Me I'm A Wreck" got heavy rotation on Sirius Hits 1 and airplay on MTV2 and Kerrang!.
