I Love R&B Party

I Love R&B is taking over HI-FI on Saturday, December 12, for a night dedicated to R&B. The promoters call it a celebration of the greatest era in R&B music, and the set spans a wide stretch of it: 90s throwbacks, early 2000s favorites, and today's smoothest hits. With DJs and MCs on the floor, the night is built around packed dance floors, sing-along anthems, and champagne poppin'.

HI-FI is inside the historic Murphy Arts Center in the heart of Fountain Square, a room that hosts shows virtually every night of the week and is known for booking artists on the rise. Acoustically, it's described as one of the best-sounding venues in the Midwest, which is a nice thing to keep in mind when the bass is hitting. The bar stocks 24 draft beers on tap, and there's a VIP deck with table seating if you'd rather watch from a seat than stay on the floor.

Entry is 21+, and the box office is cashless—card and tap-to-pay only, so leave the cash at home. Doors open at 8:30 PM and the music starts at 9:00 PM. Entry is free.
