Stand-up show by comedian Geoffrey Asmus, who has released three specials and headlines comedy clubs nationwide.
Geoffrey Asmus brings his stand-up to the Schrott Center for the Arts on Saturday, March 6, 2027. He's a regular at New York City's Comedy Cellar, and he's opened for Dave Attell, Mark Normand, Dan Soder, Fortune Feimster, Sam Morrill, and Daniel Sloss. He also appeared at Just For Laughs in Montreal as a 'New Face.'
Asmus has been recording since 2021, when his debut album Prodigal Little Bitch hit #1 on iTunes. Since then, he's put out three specials: Cancel Culture Isn't Real, a half-hour produced by Don't Tell Comedy; The Only Funny White Man, his first full-length; and 63 Minutes of Great Comedy, which you can find on his YouTube channel. He headlines clubs across the country and records the weekly You're An Idiot podcast with Alex Dragicevich, which he calls 'the only funny podcast in America.'
There's a specific story to how he got here. Asmus started stand-up in 2013, right after spending $143,548 on seven college degrees and a stint as a first-grade teacher. He describes himself as someone who never makes eye contact, a habit he calls 'a blessing for all.'
