Weekly Wednesday storytime for families at the Nora Branch Library, with stories, songs and movement activities.
Family Storytime kicks off at the Nora Branch Library on Wednesday, October 21, and it's a series that runs through the end of the year. If you've got little ones and are looking for a regular mid-week spot to bring them, this is a good one to keep on your radar.
Each session is built around a few different things. There are stories to listen to, songs to sing along with, and movement activities that get the kids up and moving rather than just sitting still. It's the kind of hour that works well if you've got a toddler or a preschooler who needs to burn off some energy while still engaging with a book. Because it's open to all ages, you can bring the whole crew regardless of where they fall on the age scale.
One of the best parts is that it's not a one-off. The sessions run every Wednesday from October 21 through December 30, so it's something you can make a habit of rather than a single date to remember. If you miss one week, there's another coming the next.
