Fall season at the Tuttle Orchards farm with U-pick, a pumpkin patch, a three-acre corn maze, narrated wagon rides and other farm activities.
Tuttle Orchards is running its fall season in the Indianapolis area through October 31, 2026. It's a fourth-generation, family-owned farm that's been around since 1928, and they've spent nearly a century growing produce and hosting people on almost 200 acres. They work year-round with high tunnels, a greenhouse, and outdoor land, and they're especially known for their award-winning apples and cider. Owner Mike Roney puts it simply: the family grows and promotes agriculture through produce, products, and experiences.
The main draw this time of year is the FarmYard, which has more than 30 activities for all ages. There are narrated wagon rides, a three-acre corn maze, and a giant corn-box play area they call the Corn Crib. For something a bit slower, the History Trail traces the farm's 95-plus years of farming, and the BarnYard has bouncy animals and a straw-bale mountain. A Farm Store and Cafe serve farm-to-table food grown right at the orchard, and the whole place is smoke-free. The apple orchard itself closes to the public from November 1 until late August of the following year.
If you're planning a trip, keep the hours in mind. From August 28 through September 30, the farm is open Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 6 PM. From October 1 through October 31, those hours extend to 9 AM to 7 PM, and they're always closed on Sundays. The 2026 season's last day for the FarmYard and U-pick is October 31, though the Farm Store and Cafe stay open year-round. The U-Cut Flower Garden runs from September 18 through October 31, and the Pumpkin Patch is open from August 28 through October 2026.
