Summer tradition of the Eiteljorg Museum with juried art from more than 100 Native American artists, music, dance, storytelling and food vendors.
The Eiteljorg Indian Market & Festival returns to the Eiteljorg Museum on June 26 and 27, 2027, for its 35th year. It's one of the largest Native art markets in the Midwest, and for two days the museum's grounds at White River State Park fill with juried art from Native artists across North America. You can spend the weekend shopping for jewelry, pottery, paintings, beadwork and more.
It's more than just a market, though. The weekend also brings cultural performances—music, dance and storytelling—alongside family art-making activities. There's fry bread and other foods from local vendors, too. More than 100 Native American artists from across the United States and Canada are expected to participate, and the organizers anticipate over 8,000 people will attend.
For those who've been around a while, this is an Indianapolis summer tradition. The 2026 edition was the 34th annual market, and the 2027 one keeps that streak going. If you're an artist yourself, it's worth noting that applications for 2027 open on October 19.
