Don Broco, with Windwaker

Don Broco play HI-FI on Wednesday, November 25, with support from Windwaker. The show is presented by MOKB Presents and is open to all ages.

Don Broco formed in 2008 as an alternative pop-rock band that blends metal, post-hardcore, and electronica into a sound of their own. Their Fearless Records debut, Nightmare Tripping, is described as their heaviest and most nuanced album, and it features a range of collaborations. The band has been together for nearly two decades, and this is a chance to catch them in a room that's usually booking artists on the rise.

Opening the night is Windwaker, a hyperpop-metal band from Melbourne, Australia. The lineup consists of Liam Guinane on vocals, Connor Robins on synths and samples, Chris Lalic on drums, Indey Salvestro on bass, and Jesse Crofts on guitar. They bring a different energy to the bill, with the synths and samples sitting alongside the heavier side of their sound.

HI-FI is located inside the historic Murphy Arts Center at 1043 Virginia Ave #4 in Fountain Square. Doors open at 7 PM, and the music starts at 8 PM. Tickets run from $25 to $30.
