Monthly themed storytelling night at The White Rabbit Cabaret, hosted by Sherra Lasley with a rotating cast of storytellers.
The White Rabbit Cabaret brings back Do Tell! on Tuesday, October 20, with this month's theme, I See Dead People. It's the venue's monthly storytelling show, held every third Tuesday, and the theme sets the night's stories—so expect a lineup of tales centered around death, ghosts, and the people who leave them behind.
Sherra Lasley hosts, and she pairs a rotating cast of storytellers with a room that encourages the audience to get involved. You can submit a story by email ahead of time or throw your name into the venue's 'Bucket' for a coveted Bucket Slot on the night. If you've got a story that fits the theme, it's a way to get on stage yourself rather than just watching from a table.
The White Rabbit Cabaret sits in the heart of Fountain Square and bills itself as a home for the 'weirdly elegant.' Its calendar runs from national and local musical headliners to cabaret and burlesque, stand-up and improv comedy, and movie screenings, so Do Tell! is one of many different kinds of nights you'll find there. The show is strictly 21+ with valid ID.
