Devour Indy Winterfest 2027

Devour Indy Winterfest returns to Indianapolis on January 18, 2027, for two full weeks of specially priced multi-course menus. It's the winter edition of the city's premier restaurant week, with more than 175 restaurants across the metro area participating. The city also stages a summer version, Devour Indy Summerfest, which runs for two weeks across the same number of restaurants.

With over 175 spots on the list, the scale is the point. You can spend the two weeks eating your way through different neighborhoods or stick to the spots you've been meaning to try. The multi-course menus are the draw—fixed-price meals that let you work your way through a full dinner without the usual guesswork. Since it's city-wide, you can jump from a spot in the center of town to one on the outskirts without leaving the event.

One of the area's landmarks is St. Elmo Steak House, at 127 S Illinois St in Monument Circle, an Indianapolis icon since 1902 still operating from the same address. It's famous for its shrimp cocktail with a horseradish sauce diners say clears your sinuses, as well as its steaks and wine list. Over 120 years, it's served presidents, athletes, and convention-goers, and it tends to book up during major events like Gen Con and the Indianapolis 500.

Winterfest runs from January 18 through January 31, 2027. With more than 175 restaurants across the metro area offering multi-course menus, it's a good excuse to eat your way across the city during the coldest part of the year.
