All-day EDM festival held in Turn 3 of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on race day of the Indianapolis 500, with a separate wristband required over a race ticket.
The Coors Light Snake Pit returns to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 30, 2027. It's an all-day EDM festival staged inside Turn 3, running through race morning alongside the Indianapolis 500 itself. If you're planning to be at the Speedway that day, it's the dance floor that runs parallel to the race.
The Snake Pit is part of the wider entertainment program that surrounds the 500. That includes the 500 Festival Mini-Marathon, the largest half-marathon in the United States, with a course that takes runners for a lap of the IMS oval. There's also the Sonsio Grand Prix, IndyCar's road-course race on the infield circuit, which happens two weeks before the 500. And then there's Miller Lite Carb Day, the unofficial start of the weekend, featuring final practice for the 33-car field, the Oscar Mayer Pit Stop Challenge, and the Wienie 500.

On race day, the Snake Pit sits in the Turn 3 infield, so you're right in the middle of the action. It's an all-day affair, meaning the music keeps going through the morning and into the race. Because it's its own thing, you'll need a separate wristband on top of your race ticket to get in, and everyone attending has to be 18 or older. If you're already heading to the Speedway for the 500, it's an easy add-on that lets you jump between the grandstands and the dance floor.
