Andrew Lloyd Webber's record-breaking musical Cats performed at Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre, with a dinner buffet included in the ticket price.
Cats is running at Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre from October 8 through November 22, 2026, with 49 performances scheduled across the run. It's Andrew Lloyd Webber's long-running musical, based on T.S. Eliot's Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats. The story follows a tribe of Jellicle cats gathering for their midnight Jellicle Ball, where each one introduces themselves in the hope that their leader, Old Deuteronomy, will choose them to be reborn and journey to the Heavyside Layer. The show is built on dancing, tumbling and acrobatics, with striking makeup and costumes and a score that includes the classic "Memory."
It's a big name in musical theater history. It won seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical in 1983, and has played in more than 30 countries, translated into 16 languages and seen by more than 73 million people worldwide. If you've never seen it, it's a good place to start with Webber.
Beef & Boards has been serving food and live entertainment since 1973, named after its signature hand-carved roast beef. It was once part of a chain built by Louisville contractor J. Scott Talbott, and it's now the sole remaining location. Each ticket includes the theater's dinner buffet, with coffee, tea or lemonade; gourmet desserts and bar beverages are available for purchase. The show is rated PG.
