Americana and folk-country concert by Bo Staloch at HI-FI inside the historic Murphy Arts Center in Fountain Square.
Bo Staloch plays HI-FI on Wednesday, February 17, 2027, with MOKB Presents bringing the show to Fountain Square. Staloch is an Austin-born, Nashville-based Americana and folk-country artist, and the set sits right in that pocket between the two.
He's been writing since high school, when he penned "Springtime Red Tulips"βthe song that led to a Capitol Records deal and his debut EP, The Garden. Since then, he's played headline shows at Antone's in Austin and opened for Zach Bryan, Houndmouth, Ashe, and Richy Mitch & The Coal Miners. His project Too Big, Too Big, produced by Brad Cook, features studio performances by members of MJ Lenderman, Bon Iver, Hippo Campus, and Twin Peaks.
When he talks about his sound, he points to two different directions: the patience and intentionality of Gregory Alan Isakov on one side, and the experimental edge of Bon Iver on the other. It's a good way to frame it, because it covers both the quiet, folk-country side of things and the more textured, indie-leaning moments. If you're familiar with either of those names, you've got a pretty clear idea of where he's coming from.
