Toddler Tales storytime session at the Eagle Branch of the Indianapolis Public Library for infants and toddlers.
Baby and Toddler Storytime is back at the Eagle Branch of the Indianapolis Public Library on Monday, November 30, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM. It's part of the library's Toddler Tales series, and the session is built for infants and toddlers. The library describes it as a way to help the little ones develop physical skills, early language, and early literacy, all while strengthening the bond between the child and their parent or caregiver. If you're in that stage of life where a half-hour of stories and songs is exactly what you need on a Monday morning, this is a good place to start.
Eagle Branch itself has a long history in the neighborhood. It first opened as a storefront branch in 1960 at 30th Street and Lafayette Road, making it the first branch in the system located in a shopping center. In 1970, it moved into a stand-alone facility at 3325 Lowry Road. That building was replaced on June 1, 2019, by the current 20,000-square-foot facility at 3905 Moller Road, which is where you'll find the storytime.
