Toddler Tales storytime session at the Eagle Branch of the Indianapolis Public Library for infants and toddlers.
Eagle Branch is hosting Baby and Toddler Storytime on Monday, November 23, from 10:30 to 11:00 AM. It's part of the library's Toddler Tales series, which is built for infants and toddlers. The session is designed to help them develop physical skills, early language, and early literacy, and it's meant to strengthen the bond between the child and their parent or caregiver.
If you're not familiar with the branch, it's the Indianapolis Public Library location at 3905 Moller Road. It has a bit of a history behind it. It first opened as a storefront branch in 1960 at 30th Street and Lafayette Roadβthe first branch in the system to be located in a shopping center. In 1970, it moved into a stand-alone facility at 3325 Lowry Road. That building was eventually replaced on June 1, 2019, by the current 20,000-square-foot facility on Moller Road, which is where this session takes place.
