The Extraordinary Magic of Jason Ladanye

Jason Ladanye brings his magic show to The Heights Theater on Saturday, March 13, 2027. He's a sleight-of-hand performer who has spent the last twenty years touring his card magic around the world, and this is his Houston stop.

Ladanye is billed as one of the best entertainers in the world, an award-winning sleight-of-hand artist whose work centers on card magic. If you're not familiar with the term, sleight-of-hand is the part of magic that relies on manual dexterity—the subtle movements of the hands that make things appear, disappear, or change right in front of you. It's the kind of close-up work that's usually best seen from a few feet away, and that's what he's been taking on the road for two decades.

One thing to keep in mind before you buy tickets: the show is recommended for ages 16 and up, so it's not really a little-kids-and-strollers kind of night. If you're planning to bring the family, that's the age to keep in mind.

As for the timing, the theater is opening early. The lobby opens at 6 PM, doors to the main room open at 7 PM, and the show starts at 8 PM. If you want to grab a drink and settle in without rushing, getting there closer to the lobby opening gives you plenty of room. The Heights Theater is at 339 W 19th St, Houston, TX 77008.
