The David Caceres Orchestra plays Doc's Houston on Saturday, October 10, with vocalist Kamil Bonner joining the lineup. It's a twelve-piece band, with Caceres leading from the front on saxophone and vocals and a full horn section behind him.
Caceres has led big bands in Houston for more than 25 years. Along the way, he played saxophone on a Grammy-winning record by La Mafia. Bonner grew up singing gospel and trained as a vocalist at the University of Central Arkansas. The two have shared the stage before, and the show is billed as a reunion that plays only once.

Doc's is Houston's newest jazz supper club, housed inside the city's historic Tower Theatre. It's a supper club in the real sense: the kitchen and bar stay open during the set, so you can eat and drink while the music is going. The show starts at 7 PM at 1201 Westheimer Rd, Suite A.
