Industrial rock and metalcore band Silent Planet performs live at the House of Blues in Houston.
Silent Planet play the House of Blues Houston on Thursday, October 29, starting at 7 PM. It's a single-act bill, so they're the only name on the poster for the night.
They're an industrial rock and metalcore band from Los Angeles, fronted by Alex Camarena, Mitchell Stark and Garrett Russell. The two styles they work in—industrial rock and metalcore—sit on opposite ends of the heavy music spectrum: industrial brings the cold, electronic textures and mechanical rhythms, while metalcore is built on the breakdown and the scream. Putting them together is how they've carved out their own sound.
The Houston date is part of a run of House of Blues shows across the south. They'll be playing San Antonio, Dallas, New Orleans and Pensacola between October 27 and 31, with Houston falling right in the middle of that stretch. If you're following the tour, this is one of five stops they're making in the region over those five days.
