Shane Dawson Live

Shane Dawson is coming to Cullen Performance Hall on Thursday, October 29, for a screening of his independent original pilot, Cancelled. He wrote and directed the project himself, and this is one of the dates where he's showing it on the big screen.

The night is built around the screening, but it doesn't end when the credits roll. After the film, Dawson will be joined on stage by special guests Ryland Adams, Spencer, and others for a conversation about the project. If you've followed his work, you know Adams and Spencer are regulars in his circle, so seeing them together in person is a good part of the draw.

For context, Dawson is a YouTuber who rose to fame on the platform after he started making videos in 2008 at the age of 19. Cancelled is his own independent pilot, written and directed by him, and this Houston date is billed as an exclusive screening. The whole evening is set up as a two-part experience: the film first, then the live discussion with the guests.

The show is at Cullen Performance Hall, part of the University of Houston at 4300 University Dr, Houston, TX 77004. It starts at 7:30 PM on Thursday, October 29.
