Saw plays at Rooftop Cinema Club Uptown on Wednesday, October 14, at 9:45 PM. It's part of Fright Club, the club's October Halloween program that runs from October 1 to 31, bringing 38 movies to every one of their locations throughout the month.

The lineup spans a wide range of horror and spooky cinema. You'll find family favorites like Monsters, Inc. and Hotel Transylvania alongside horror classics like Halloween, The Exorcist, and Scream, plus more recent hits. The whole slate is organized by a 'Fright Club Scare-o-Meter' that runs from Level 1, for friendly monsters, up to Level 5, for full horror. There are also family-friendly Fright Club Jr. sessions, and Halloween night itself brings Halloween on Halloween to select locations.

Saw sits on the heavier end of that scale. The story follows a deranged, sadistic serial killer who abducts people he considers morally wayward and forces them into a horrific survival game of impossible choices. The victims have to fight to win their lives back or die trying. It's the kind of movie that earns its place on the higher end of the Scare-o-Meter.
