Free outdoor movie screening of the 2003 film 'The Haunted Mansion' at Trebly Park as part of the Downtown Houston Presents programme.
Trebly Park is showing The Haunted Mansion on Thursday, October 22, as part of the Movies Under the Stars series. It's an outdoor screening of the 2003 Disney film, rated PG, and it runs from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
The movie follows a rector and his family who are summoned to a haunted mansion, and since it's a family-friendly one, it works for a crowd that includes kids. The organizers suggest grabbing takeout from one of the surrounding restaurants to bring along, so you can eat while you watch.
The screening is part of the Downtown Houston Presents program, which runs a wide range of events across the city: meet-ups for pups and people, blanket bingo, free movies in the park, holiday extravaganzas, and quirky interactive art installations. This one is run by Downtown Houston+.
