Melvins

Melvins are playing the House of Blues Houston on Sunday, October 25, 2026. They're the only name on the bill, so it's a straight-ahead headline show with them taking the full slot. The set is scheduled for 7 PM.

If you're not already familiar, the Melvins are one of the longest-running bands in the heavy scene. They've been active since the early eighties, and their sound is built on slow, heavy riffs and a loud, distorted approach that's influenced a lot of the sludge and stoner rock that came after them. They've put out a huge number of records over the decades, and they're known for changing their lineup and their sound along the way, so what they bring to the stage can vary from one tour to the next.

This particular date is set for the Bronze Peacock, which is the smaller, more intimate room inside the House of Blues. It's a good spot for a show like this, as it puts you closer to the stage than the main room does. The set starts at 7 PM on a Sunday night, so it's an early start for a weekend gig.

Tickets are available through Live Nation. If you've been following them for a while or just want to see them live in Houston, you can find the details and grab yours there.
