I Promised The World

I Promised The World play White Oak Music Hall on Sunday, November 22. It's a single-bill night, so they're the only act on the program.

They're a post-hardcore, screamo and hardcore punk band from Dallas, Texas. If you're not familiar with the terms, that puts them in the heavier, more aggressive end of the punk family—screamo and post-hardcore usually trade in shouted vocals and a lot of dynamic shift, and the hardcore punk side brings the speed. It's the kind of sound that lives in the louder, more intense corners of the scene.

Coming from Dallas, they're playing a few hours away from home, so this is a Texas date. The show is at White Oak Music Hall, 2915 N Main St, in Houston. It starts at 7 PM.
