Free all-levels vinyasa yoga class taught in Spanish with breathwork and meditation by Nataly of Hungry Yogi.
Hungry Yogi is hosting a free Spanish-language yoga class at Skylawn on Wednesday, October 28, from 7 PM to 8 PM. The session is led by Nataly, and it's an all-levels vinyasa flow, so you don't need to be a regular practitioner to join in.
As for what to expect, it's more than just a series of poses. The vinyasa flow is paired with breathwork and meditation, so you'll be moving through the postures and then settling into the quieter, more internal side of the practice. The whole thing is taught in Spanish, which is where the community aspect comes in: it's framed as an experience that connects body, mind, and soul within the Latin community. That said, it's open to everyone, including those who don't speak Spanish, so you can still roll out your mat even if you're just there for the movement.

If you're wondering where to find it, Skylawn is the rooftop park at POST Houston, 401 Franklin St, in the middle of downtown. It's a pretty open, airy spot, which fits the outdoor vibe of a rooftop class. The session runs from 7 PM to 8 PM on Wednesday, October 28, and it's free.
